孩童暑期線上課程

您在尋找孩子的線上課程嗎?不想再讓孩子們獨自看影片教學嗎?小鸚鵡教育農場將原有的暑期課程搬到線上了!豐富的課程及有經驗的自然、營養、美術及瑜伽老師,每堂課都是 LIVE 教學,穿插影片、PPT、老師們 demo 烹飪料理、畫畫、瑜伽,還可以透過視頻觀察植物和小動物呢!

後院農耕 (週二)

* 因第一個session會讓小朋友實際種植, 建議報名全部八堂課。

內容:
如何讓都市小朋友增進與大自然親密互動的機會呢?

雖然無法到小鸚鵡教育農場,但可以透過老師們在農場的教導,去學習如何經營自己家裡的小菜園,從開始種下種子、施肥、除草到收成,全程學習,彼此分享,讓孩子擁有一份屬於小小心靈陪伴作物長成的關愛、責任和成就感。每次都可以認識新的動物朋友。透過視鏡,也可以讓孩子們認識到大自然蘊含的豐富生機,體會人與自然的和諧關係。

建議年齡:5-10 歲

內容:

怎麼樣讓孩子不挑食呢?變成一個食物小戰士!

這是一個新奇又有趣的課程,食物對我們來說是又熟悉,又陌生。老師們會帶著孩子探索食物,平衡又好吃的食物會帶給身體和地球媽媽的健康哦!學習發豆芽,做乳酪,德國泡菜,燕麥餅乾和食物顏色!

建議年齡: 7-12 歲 (8 歲以下,某些課需要家長陪同)
人數限制: 20

藝術 | 瑜伽 | 生活 (週五)

內容:
小朋友們在家裡悶得慌了嗎?一起來舒展你的身,舒展你的心!

小鸚鵡教育農場非常榮幸的請到 OneHouse Arts 的 Rachel Rong 老師以及瑜伽老師 Rachel Wang 來教大家自然繪畫、瑜伽及運動!我們也會跟孩子們做一些對話。

建議年齡:線上將分成兩組, 5-8 歲 及 9-13歲
人數限制:每組限 6 人

上課方法

1. Zoom 會議室。

1. 會請家長們先印出一些 worksheet.
2. 會先列出請家長們可以準備的材料。如果材料特殊,我們會請您來農場領取, 或一次郵寄給您,運費還請另付。

Rosa
Rosa Tse (李枬)
Rosa received a B.S.in Mathematics Applied Sciences & Economics, UCLA, 1992, a M.S.in Nutriional Sciences, Cal State Los Angeles, 2001, and has been a Registered Dietitian since 2001. She feels passionate about nature education for the next generation and restoring the relationship between man and nature.
Hong
Hong Chen (洪桂央)
Hong had taught in public elementary schools both in Taiwan and in the States for over 26 years before she retired. Now as a volunteer, she continues to work with children promoting awareness in how human behavior impacts our environment. She enjoys being around children and is grateful for having the opportunity to work with them in her retirement.
Mandy
Mandy Hsia (夏萌)
Mandy received a B.S.in Molecular biology, UCSD,1998, a Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, UCD, 2010, and has been a lecturer at Cal State LA since 2016. She enjoys working  and teaching with plants and animals.
She enjoys working with plants and animals, and teaching people about plants and animals.
Heather
Heather Xiong (熊畅)
Heather graduated from UC Berkeley in 2016, majored in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphasis in Public Health, Education and Food Policy. She has a passion in food education and urban agriculture, and believes that nature is the best classroom for kids to learn, at a young age, to become better steward of our planet.
Rachel Wang-Yoga
Rachel Wang
Rachel graduated from UC Irvine and has made her way to become a full time yoga teacher. She is eager to help students find more strength, space, and balance within themselves through movement and mindfulness – all while having fun! One of her main passions is to coexist with the natural and modern world in a sustainable manner, that is approachable for herself as well as for others.

Rachel Rong
Rachel studied in the MFA program at the California Institute of the Arts and received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her skills include painting, drawing, and sculpture. She has taught elementary-level art since 2005. She aims to inspire children with respect, nourishing students with the enthusiasm to be self-expressive and creative individuals while developing their aesthetic awareness.
Janice Liao
Janice Liao
From experience at international schools in Taiwan and China, Janice has accumulated 6 years of experience in teaching humanities, curriculum design and counseling for middle and high school students. Janice enjoys working with organizations to promote community engagement with education program development. With a B.A. and M.A. from New York University, her training in Art History, History and Asian/Pacific/American studies informs her practice to build inter-disciplinary connections for positive social change.
